Connie's Scarf

This scarf was so quick and easy to make.  I didn't use any pattern, just made it up as I went along.

The photos are not great as she wouldn't keep still, lol
There are seven little flowers down the centre

Scrumble or Free Form Crochet

Now this I could really get hooked on, excuse the pun!  Basically it is very much a do what you feel like doing, anything goes.....this is what I have started.....I did say I was a beginner didn't I?
Don't know what it is going to be yet, but these are the wools I will stick to, probably a wrap to wear in the car....

Felted Bags

I made these two little bags about a year ago now, first attempt at knitting again after umpteen years!  Very, very easy to do.  This is what the bag looked like before washing at forty degrees.......

and after.....
and another bag....

22nd March 2010 - First Post

I have decided to start another blog and run it along side my other (Carolands) as I have started to pick up needles again and my some of my blogging buddies perhaps don't knit, crochet or sew.  I learned to crochet on 1st January this year and so far have found it quite addictive and also find it much easier than knitting.  Here is my first project, a cushion cover......The main body was made up of English treble stitches or US double crochet.
I found the instructions for the little rose on youtube and made up the leaves myself and cannot even remember how I did them, lol - My rose has not come out so nice I think because my crocheting tended to be a bit tight, I have better tension now!
The scalloped edge I think I made up again, I shall remember to put more detail in next time.
